     Our office is in Hazleton, which lies at the junction of Interstates 80 and 81. The Northeast Extension (Rt. 476) of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Rt. 76) runs north from Philadelphia through Northeastern Pennsylvania to Clarks Summit, where it terminates. State Route 309 runs parallel to the Northeast Extension and makes an acceptable alternate route.

    The Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike is the route preferred by most business travelers because it is a limited-access, four-lane highway, while Route 309 is generally a two-lane road. The advantage to Route 309, though, is that it passes directly through the cities of Hazleton and Wilkes-Barre.
